Former Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker is set to support the new caretaker boss Freddie Ljungberg, it has been revealed.
Mertesacker, the Arsenal academy boss, will be supporting Ljungberg whilst the Swede is in temporary charge of the gunners after Unai Emery was sacked as boss on Friday.
