Report reveals how much Arsenal fans paid to watch the Gunners on TV last season

OLBG’s Fans of the EPL have recently shared how much fans of each Premier League club paid to watch their own team on TV last year, assuming they took out Sky Sports and BT Sport subscriptions.

Arsenal supporters were able to watch their side on 25 occasions as they finished fifth in Unai Emery’s first season in charge.

The Gunners finished just one point off fourth-placed Tottenham, and Champions League qualification looks a tough ask again this season after the club’s poor start to the campaign.

Only champions Manchester City, North London rivals Tottenham, runners-up Liverpool and Manchester United were televised more than Arsenal during the previous season.

And according to the in-depth report, Arsenal fans would’ve paid approximately £12.64 per game to watch their side from the comfort of their own homes.

With ticket prices at the Emirates one of the highest in the division, £12.64 per game actually doesn’t look too bad, especially comparing that figure to the 19 other sides.

However, the action on show didn’t exactly justify the calculated fee, but it could have been a lot worse for Gunners fans.

Tottenham supporters paid a fraction less at £12.15 per game to watch their 26 televised fixtures, meaning they just got the better deal ahead of their rivals.
