Eddie Nketiah is not pursuing a Leeds United exit in January, according to The Atheltic’s Phil Hay.
The ever-reliable reporter revealed in a Q&A on Thursday that Leeds are hopeful that the forward will remain at Elland Road for the second half of the campaign, with the player himself not pursuing an Emirates return.

Recent reports have suggested that the Gunners are expected to recall the striker in the new year.
Nketiah has scored five times in 430 minutes of first-team action under Marcelo Bielsa, helping the Whites to second in the Championship.
The highly-rated Arsenal ace is yet to start a second-tier encounter this season and has missed the club’s last four games through injury.

Hay also revealed that Nketiah was set to return to training today, so he could earn a first Championship start over the coming weeks.
Although he hasn’t featured as much as both the Gunners and the player himself would’ve liked, if he is happy in Yorkshire, then Arsenal really need to take that into consideration.
He’s under the guidance of one of the best coaches in the game in Bielsa and will be improving his already impressive game on a day to day basis.
Of course, he needs to feature more, but if he stays with Leeds, he could be the key in helping them earn promotion back to the Premier League.
