Arsenal fans fearing Aguero masterclass with forward expected to return at the Emirates

Arsenal fans are fearing a masterclass from Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero when the two sides meet next month.

The Argentine suffered a thigh injury in the win over Chelsea on Saturday, with Pep Guardiola confirming the forward will miss the next ‘few weeks’ as a result.

Guardiola revealed that Aguero will miss the Manchester derby at the Etihad on December 7th, so his first domestic appearance back for the defending champions could be against the Gunners on December 15th.

Dan Critchlow shared his assumption that the forward will return against Arsenal following Guardiola’s comments, which led to these Gunners fans also sharing their worry.

The 31-year-old has already scored 13 goals in 16 games this season, so it would be just Arsenal’s luck to have a fit and raring to go Aguero against them next month.

Gabriel Jesus will more than likely fill in for the experienced striker over the coming weeks, and Arsenal fans will be praying to come up against the Brazilian over his South American compatriot.

Let’s be honest, as one fan mentioned, City could have anyone they want up front right now and cause problems against Arsenal’s backline.

But if the Gunners have any chance of getting a result against the defending Premier League champions, then they may need Aguero to miss the trip to north London.
