# Soyuncu’s agent plays down Arsenal links

Caglar Soyuncu’s agent has played down the recent rumours linking his client with a move to Arsenal.

Following his stunning start to the season, Soyuncu has been [linked](https://readarsenal.com/2019/11/14/arsenal-scouts-keen-to-watch-caglar-soyuncu-during-iceland-clash/) with moves away from Leicester.

Despite only recently stepping up as a first-team regular at Leicester, Arsenal and Man City have been touted as potential destinations for the player.

Speaking to Turkish radio station Radyospor, [as cited on the Daily Star,](https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/arsenal-transfer-target-caglar-soyuncus-20973471) Mustafa Dogru said:

> After such performances in the Premier League, it is quite natural for transfer news to appear. Caglar now focuses on the success of the team. A transfer is neither on his nor the club’s agenda.

It would come as a huge surprise to see Soyuncu move on so soon from Leicester.

He is enjoying a fine run of form at the King Power after stepping out of Harry Maguire’s shadow.

Brendan Rodgers’ side look a great bet to secure Champions League qualification and if they can finish in the top four, the Foxes will be under no pressure to sell the Turk – especially as Arsenal themselves are going to struggle to finish inside the top four.
