Numerous Arsenal supporters are hoping to see Shkodran Mustafi handed a first Premier League start against Norwich City this weekend.
The 27-year-old was heavily tipped to leave the Emirates over the summer after a poor spell of form in the second half of the previous campaign.
However, after staying put in north London, the German has been turning out for the Gunners in the club’s cup competitions.
Mustafi has made six appearances and scored in the 1-1 draw with Vitoria in the Europa League earlier this month.

Overall, Mustafi has been fairly solid, so why shouldn’t he be given the opportunity in the league?
Emery has been using three central defenders in recent weeks, which has left many fans annoyed.
None of those defenders have shone this season, so we’re with these supporters in believing Mustafi should turn out at Carrow Road this Sunday.
