READ ARSENAL VERDICT
Nuno has done a superb job with Wolves, taking them out of the Championship in his first season before finishing 7th last season and securing Europa League football. They are on the verge of qualifying from their group in Europe and are currently 5th in the Premier League, further highlighting his excellent work with the Midlands club.
He knows the Premier League and can organise a defence, with his Wolves side known for their rigid defensive structure and organisation. Whether or not he can do the same with Arsenal’s defenders remains to be seen, but it appears to be a good appointment – if they went with it – on paper.
