# Arsenal fans hit out at Emery following his pre-match press conference

Arsenal fans have once again vented their frustration towards Unai Emery following his pre-match press conference.

As reported by the [club’s official website](https://t.co/zhnyOuMKFb?amp=1), the Arsenal manager was speaking ahead of this weekend’s game against Southampton that could see the Gunners close the gap between them and the top four.

Still somewhat frustrated in his answers, these Arsenal fans on social media were furious with the manager’s attitude.

### Read Arsenal verdict

It’s easy to see why supporters are really beginning to turn on their manager.

In recent weeks he has cut a frustrated figure at the club and while that’s understandable, it’s not particularly inspiring either.

The Gunners are stuck in a rut and it’s make-or-break for Emery at this stage.

He needs to galvanise the squad and the fan base, but blunt and repetitive answers in front of the media are not helping him.
