Xhaka set for January exit, with Inter and AC Milan chasing loan deals

Wantaway Arsenal man Granit Xhaka could be set for a loan move away from the Gunners, with Inter and AC Milan both interested in a deal.

The Swiss midfielder’s future is up in the air after a spat with the Arsenal fans, which has seen him stripped of the captaincy.

Xhaka has been linked with a move to several clubs, with the Mirror reporting that Crystal Palace, Newcastle and the two Milan sides have all taken an interest in potentially loaning the midfielder in January.

Reports from Germany have also ruled out a return to Borussia Monchengladbach.

Xhaka’s future at the club looks all but over, but a loan move could be the right decision until a permanent switch away over the summer.

Arsenal would preferably surely want him to move to Italy, but the Gunners may just want him out of the dressing room at all costs.

Therefore, a move away looks all but certain.
