Arsenal fans have urged Unai Emery to select an attacking side for this weekend’s meeting against Southampton.
The 48-year-old has come in for plenty of criticism in recent weeks due to his defensive approach, which has left many calling for the Gunners to part ways with the Spaniard.

Unfortunately for those fans, the club look like they are willing to stick with the boss for the coming weeks, starting with the home meeting against the Saints.
@PatrickTimmons1 weighed in with his team selection views on Tuesday evening, urging Emery to select Nicolas Pepe, Alexandre Lacazette & Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with Mesut Ozil supporting in an attacking midfield role.
His post led to plenty of interaction, and these Gunners supporters were all for the idea.
Twitter: @PatrickTimmons1 Agreed, take the game to them, dominate and get the feel good factor back with a hatful of goals. (@mikemarlowe6)

This weekend’s fixture appears to be must-win for Emery if he is to stay in the job for the foreseeable future, so taking the game to Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side seems the only approach.
The Gunners have the quality to pick teams apart going forward, so Arsenal’s attack could be the best form of defence against the struggling Saints.
