# Fans ramp up the pressure on the Arsenal board as Mourinho joins Spurs

Jose Mourinho’s dramatic and controversial arrival at Tottenham has sent shockwaves through the Premier League.

Spurs’ ruthless nature has left Arsenal fans demanding the same from their board.

After seeing their rivals part ways with Mauricio Pochettino and appoint the former Chelsea and Man United boss in a matter of hours, these Arsenal fans on social media have urged the Gunners to follow suit.

### Read Arsenal verdict

You have to commend Spurs. Pochettino was a huge favourite among the fanbase, but they have been ruthless as they seek improvements on the pitch.

As quick as a flash, Pochettino was sacked and the motions were in place to complete a deal for Jose Mourinho.

This does certainly ramp up the pressure on Arsenal to make a decision on Emery’s future if things do not improve.

It shows just what you can achieve with the right planning and bravery to make that call.
