Former Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal has played more Premier League minutes for the Gunners than Mesut Ozil this season, and the stat has left some fans shocked.
The 33-year-old, who joined Real Sociedad late in the summer, played all three of the club’s Premier League meetings before his departure, while out of favour Ozil has played 20 minutes less in his three league appearances.
