Arsenal fans have been quick to share their anger at the club’s proposed January business.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, the Gunners were not planning to use the new year window to strengthen Unai Emery’s squad.
Arsenal have won just once in eight in all competitions, and during that time, several key men have been linked with moves away over the next six months.
Ornstein shared the news during a live Q&A on Monday afternoon, and it was quickly picked up by fan page @afcsource, who shared this tweet to their followers.

Even though the club wasn’t thinking of splashing the cash in the new year, they may need to rethink their initial plans.
Emery is in desperate need of a solid central defender, and the club may have to act in the middle of midfield, should former captain Granit Xhaka and Uruguayan Lucas Torreira seal north London exits.
If the Gunners fail to bolster their squad over the coming months, it could have major consequences in terms of the club’s overall future.
