Reinier is one of the next big stars to come through Brazilian football and it’s easy to see why.
Aged just 17, he has some of the biggest clubs in world football clamouring over his signature.
Dubbed ‘the next Kaka’, Reinier has been catching the eye with Brazil’s U17s as well as Flamengo.
He may have only made 13 first-team appearances for Flamengo, but these teams have already seen enough.
Described in The Guardian’s Next Generation of 2019 as ‘five years ahead of his time’, Reinier is showing exactly why he is ready to take the next step after flourishing in Brazil.
When you consider the level of competition that Arsenal are already facing, a deal to sign Reinier would come as a huge coup to the Gunners.
Gabriel Martinelli has proven this season why clubs like Arsenal should take risks on these South American talents and fans will be hoping Reinier could do more of the same.
