Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has asked his parent club to sell him to Arsenal on a permanent basis.
According to El Desmarque, via FourFourTwo, Ceballos has spoken to Real Madrid in an attempt to get them to let him go.
Ceballos is currently on loan to Arsenal from Real Madrid but wants to stay in England beyond the end of the season.

Ceballos has managed two assists in the Premier League for Arsenal this season and shown signs of promise in midfield. He has, however, failed to break into the starting line-up on a regular basis, which means that signing him permanently should not be a top priority for the Gunners.
The Spanish international is only 23 and has plenty of potential, so signing him does have it’s benefits, but it needs to be on Arsenal’s terms. If Real Madrid demand an unreasonable amount of money for his signature, they should just walk away and look elsewhere.
However, Ceballos does still have the rest of the season to make his impact at The Emirates and prove that he belongs in the Premier League. If he can do that between now and then, the situation may change.
