Granit Xhaka sends message to Arsenal fans after appearing for Switzerland

Granit Xhaka has sent a message to Arsenal fans after appearing for Switzerland on international duty.

Xhaka, who has been out of the side since being booed after being subbed against Crystal Palace, which has seen him have a major fallout with the Gunners faithful.

After appearing for Switzerland, Xhaka seemed to send a cryptic message to Arsenal fans on his Instagram account.

Writing in German, Xhaka wrote

Happiness is when you are satisfied with yourself and do not need the confirmation of others.

The midfielder has become a controversial figure as of late, being stripped of the captaincy and also seemingly becoming public enemy number 1 for several Arsenal fans.

Xhaka is obviously unhappy at the Gunners, and it’s sad to see that it has gotten to this point.

At this point, who even knows whether or not he’ll play for Arsenal again.

The Swiss midfielder may not be a favourite for many fans, but it’s not nice to see a player fall out with a club like this.
