# Arsenal fans want Rafa Benitez to replace Unai Emery

Arsenal fans would be interested to see Rafa Benitez take over from Unai Emery.

The former Liverpool and Chelsea boss has recently been discussing his desire to return to the Premier League one day.

His interview with the [BBC](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50423932) has sparked a thought among these Arsenal fans on social media, amid rising pressure on Unai Emery.

Benitez remains a widely admired manager, despite making the move to the Chinese Super League.

Should he ever leave Dalian Yifang in the near future, he’s unlikely to be short of offers from England.

In recent years, he has shown at both Newcastle and Chelsea that he can have success for the long and short term.

Benitez stepped in at Chelsea with the Blues in something of a rut after sacking Roberto Di Matteo and he guided them to Europa League glory.

At Newcastle, he laid the initial foundations to set up a solid Premier League team.

If Arsenal are to sack Unai Emery halfway through the season, Benitez could be a great short-term option to step in and steady the ship.
