Arsenal are thought to be keen on a new year move for Stuttgart midfielder Orel Mangala.
According to German publication HLN, cited by TeamTALK, the Gunners are one of several sides showing an interest in the 21-year-old.

Lyon, Marseille, Lille and Roma are also keeping tabs on the no-nonsense midfielder, who has excelled in the German second tier this season.
Stuttgart have reportedly placed a €30m valuation on Mangala’s shoulders, a hefty fee for a second-tier star.

Arsenal have had recent success when buying a midfielder from a second-tier side in Matteo Guendouzi, so the Gunners could be willing to try their luck with Mangala over the coming months.
Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira have both been tipped to leave the Emirates in the new year, and if they do, the club will need at least one arrival for the second half of the campaign.
Mangala could be that man, and his tough-tackling approach would more than likely be greatly welcomed in north London should the Gunners complete a move.
