Tottenham have entered the race to sign long-term Arsenal target Dayot Upamecano.
According to Bleacher Report, Spurs will try to sign the RB Leipzig defender in January, as well as Brais Mendez and Ajax’s Hakim Ziyech.
Upamecano has been heavily linked with a move to London in recent months, with reports claiming Arsenal had a big-money bid turned down for the player last summer.

A move away from Leipzig is looking increasingly likely for Upamecano as he continues to catch the eye in Germany.
In Upamecano and Ibrahima Konate, Leipzig boast two of the best young defenders in European football right now.

The French defender will be left with a decision to make, as there could soon be openings in both Arsenal and Tottenham’s defence.
Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld aren’t getting any younger, while the same can be said for Sokratis and David Luiz.
The one factor that Arsenal will have working in their favour if they are to reignite their interest is the returning William Saliba.
The prospect of forming a long-term defensive partnership alongside his fellow countryman might be something that appeals to Upamecano when the time does come to leave Leipzig.
