Unai Emery will have until the new year to change his fortunes around at the Emirates, however, the news hasn’t gone down well with a section of supporters.

The Spaniard had been tipped to recieve the boot following the Gunners’ 2-0 defeat to Leicester City prior to the international break.

However, various reports in the media, as cited by @AFTVMedia, claim that the club are willing to give the 48-year-old until January before making a decision.

As expected, the update didn’t go down well with plenty of fans, with some replying to the post to share their frustration at the news.

Arsenal can’t afford to labour to another Europa League finish with the future’s of star strikers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette on the line, so this update seems rather bizarre.

The Gunners have been getting worse each week over the past two months, so allowing Emery to continue until January is a bold decision.

The board will be hoping he can repay their faith by turning things around, but if he can’t, then Gunners officials will certainly be taking some part of the blame further down the line.

Do Arsenal have a chance of finishing in the top four?

Yes, believe!

Nope!
