Plenty of Arsenal fans are resigned to the prospect of losing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over the next 12 months.
According to The Atheltic’s David Ornstein, the 30-year-old is waiting to see whether or not the Gunners qualify for the Champions League next season before committing his future to the club, a target which looks extremely out of reach based on the club’s recent form.

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have recently been linked with moves for the club captain, with Aubameyang becoming Unai Emery’s most valuable player.
The star striker has also been asked to not interact with AFTV Media, a decision that has been questioned by several Arsenal supporters.
And after learning the latest off-field developments regarding his Emirates future, parody account @Aubazettes shared this deflated social media post regarding the striker’s future.

If Aubameyang’s future with the club depends on the Gunners finishing in the top four, then its no surprise to see these fans in defeated spirits.
Emery’s men have shown no signs of their fortunes changing in recent weeks, and if the latest reports are to be believed, the next six months will be crucial.
