Shkodran Mustafi has been praised by fans after the defender brought some positive energy to supporters with his latest social media post.
The German was thought to be surplus to requirements over the summer, however, after a move away from the Emirates never materialised, Mustafi has since been turning out for the Gunners in cup competitions.
The 27-year-old, who came in for plenty of criticism from fans last season, has played six times, scoring in his last appearance against Vitoria in the Europa League.
And when @SemperFiArsenal shared the German’s Instagram post of himself and his child, these Gunners supporters were quick to hail the defender.

Who would’ve thought we’d see comments like these from Arsenal fans on Mustafi?
Back in the summer fans were desperate to see the German leave north London, so it’s a testament to the defender’s attitude that he has stuck with it and is now receiving the deserved praise.
His performances on the pitch have been fairly solid, so it’ll be interesting to see what the club do with the defender in the new year.
Do they look to sell again, or do they keep him in their plans?
