With the January window fast approaching, it’s not unusual to see plenty of high-profile sides present at fixtures across Europe.
According to the report, two exciting young midfielders, who played the entire 90 minutes, were being watched closely.
The first is 20-year-old Albert Sambi Lokonga. The Belgian is a defensive-minded midfielder and has been a regular this season.
The second midfielder thought to be of interest is 18-year-old Yari Verschaeren. The attacking midfielder has scored twice for his club this season and recently netted his first senior national goal for Belgium in the 9-0 win over San Marino.
The Belgian media claim that Anderlecht have no intentions of selling either player.
However, if Arsenal were impressed with what they saw from the duo and firm up their apparent interest in the new year, then a move to England could be too good to turn down for either midfielder.
