Arsenal fans mock Aguero’s Anfield record and compare it to Martinelli’s

Arsenal fans were quick to mock Manchester City star Sergio Aguero after his woeful form at Anfield continued on Sunday. 

The Argentine failed to notch against the Reds as they fell to a 3-1 defeat to Jurgen Klopp’s side. 

The Gunners also suffered another poor weekend, falling to a 2-0 defeat against Leicester City.  

However, when @PatrickTimmons1 shared this amusing tweet regarding Aguero and Gabriel Martinelli’s Anfield records, it allowed these Arsenal supporters to have a laugh at the Manchester City star’s expense.

Arsenal fans will pick up on anything and everything they can at the minute, especially due to the club’s dreadful form. 

Aguero’s Anfield record is strange, and with Martinelli netting twice on Merseyside last month, it’s good to see some fans poking fun at the City man. 

If the teenager can continue his excellent goalscoring form over the next 12 months, then who knows, Martinelli may well be likened to his fellow South American yet again.
