# Parlour doesn’t see Arsenal sacking Emery anytime soon

Ray Parlour does not believe Arsenal will sack Unai Emery anytime soon, even if they lose on Saturday night.

[Speaking on talkSPORT](https://twitter.com/talkSPORT/status/1192721698405179392?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1192721698405179392&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fmetro.co.uk%2F2019%2F11%2F08%2Fray-parlour-makes-unai-emery-sacking-prediction-ahead-vital-leicester-clash-11065132%2F), the former Gunners man explained why he doesn’t see Emery being sacked this season.

Many [believe](https://readarsenal.com/2019/11/08/arsenal-fans-want-to-see-their-club-lose-against-leicester/) that defeat to Leicester at the weekend could spell the end for Emery after a disappointing recent run of form.

### Read Arsenal verdict

It’s interesting to hear Parlour’s take on this. He’s one of only a few to back Emery to turn things around.

If Brendan Rodgers’ side are to win at the King Power on Saturday night, they will open up a nine-point gap between themselves and the Gunners.

Following their recent run of form, a defeat at the hands of an invigorated Leicester team would cast serious doubts over the club’s ability to reach the top four.

Not only that, it could close the gap to the likes of Tottenham and Manchester United, who are both hovering just below the Gunners.

The worry for Arsenal fans is that the fact the players have shown little impetus to turn things around in recent weeks and performances look like they’ll only get worse before things start to improve.
