# Arsenal fans confused by Tierney and Pepe’s inclusion against Vitoria

Arsenal have confirmed that both Kieran Tierney and Nicolas Pepe will start in this afternoon’s game against Vitoria.

Kicking off at the unusual time of 3:50 pm, Unai Emery has rung the changes in the Europa League.

However, both Tierney and Pepe start the game, raising concerns among these fans on social media about whether or not they will feature against Leicester at the weekend.

### Read Arsenal verdict

Kieran Tierney should be considered for a starting spot against Leicester on Saturday, so it’s a little confusing to see him being risked this afternoon.

The Gunners look much better both defensively and going forward with him in their side, so you have to wonder what Emery is trying to achieve by starting him.

It would suggest that he’ll either risk him and start Tierney for both games, or Sead Kolasinac will come back into the side this weekend. The latter is unlikely to be a popular decision.

Arsenal fans will be hoping that he is merely allowing both Pepe and Tierney a good run of games to get back up to speed after their respective injuries.
