Former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has leapt to the defence of club legend Dennis Bergkamp after he was criticised by Talksport pundit Adrian Durham.
Bergkamp is well-known as one of the Premier League’s greatest ever strikers but Durham feels he’s been given this status for no reason. He questioned Bergkamp for not winning the UEFA Champions League or not scoring more than 20 goals in a league season.
Fabregas responded on Twitter:
Is this guy serious? Lost the plot big time there. If you don’t think Bergkamp was that good, then you don’t understand this sport at all.

READ ARSENAL VERDICT
It’s very pleasing to see Fabregas defending an Arsenal legend and these Arsenal fans certainly enjoyed it.
Despite leaving Arsenal for Barcelona and then moving to London rivals Chelsea, Fabregas still holds a special love for the club that gave him the opportunity to prove himself on the world stage.
Despite recent hatred, it’s also obvious that Arsenal fans also hold Fabregas in a special place in their heart and would love to see him return one day.
