Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is holding off on signing a new contract with the club, according to a report on the Mirror.
The Gunners are desperate to agree on a new and improved deal with the Gabon international, whose current deal expires in 2021.

The striker has netted eight times in the Premier League already this season and is one of Arsenal’s main players.
However, despite being a fan-favourite, the forward is understood to be “keeping his options open” and wants to be playing UEFA Champions League football.
Arsenal are currently doing poorly in the top flight with question marks over manager Unai Emery’s future and Aubameyang’s stutter in regards to signing a new deal will have Europe’s elite clubs on alert.
READ ARSENAL VERDICT
Aubameyang is undoubtedly Arsenal’s most important player so it’s vital for them to persuade him to stay at the Emirates.
His goalscoring record for the club is admirable and Emery needs to ensure Champions League qualification, or else Aubameyang may be tempted to move elsewhere.
These are his peak years and he wants to be playing at the highest level of club football and at the moment, he’s not getting that with the Gunners.
