“No loss” – Arsenal fans aren’t worried over triple post-Liverpool injury scare

Arsenal fans have reacted to the news that Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Joe Willock and Sead Kolasinac were all seen limping heavily following the defeat at Anfield on Wednesday.

The three all started in the thrilling 5-5 draw against Liverpool, with youngsters Maitland-Niles and Willock getting on the scoresheet in the second half as the Gunners exited the competition after a penalty shootout defeat.

Arsenal’s Goal correspondent Charles Watts shared the news on social media, revealing he would be surprised if the trio made the squad for the visit of Wolves on Saturday.

The update quickly did the rounds on social media, and these Gunners supporters weren’t too worried over the triple injury scare.

If the trio all fail to recover in time for the visit of Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, then Emery, as some fans mentioned, could be forced to play three fan favourites in Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney and Mesut Ozil.

Ozil’s potential inclusion would be the biggest eyebrow-raiser, but it could be one that allows the German to reignite his Gunners career.

It remains to be seen as to how serious the three injuries are, and as strange as it sounds, it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
