Arsenal fans keen on Wolves’ Nuno to become next Gunners boss

Arsenal fans have welcomed the idea of Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo taking over from Unai Emery.

The current Gunners manager is under plenty of pressure from the fans after a poor October, with the hot seat at the Emirates a key talking point in recent weeks.

Defeat to Sheffield United followed by worrying home displays against Vitoria and Crystal Palace have put serious pressure on the Spaniard, and his decision to hand Granit Xhaka the captain’s armband has also come in for criticism.

So when fan page @LTArsenal asked about the possibility of Nuno becoming the next Gunners boss, plenty of supporters were keen on the idea.

Plenty of names have been thrown out there over recent weeks, and Nuno, with the work he has done at Wolves, is rightly tipped as a possible candidate to succeed Emery.

He’s enjoyed great success at Molineux in recent years and has established them as a top-half Premier League side in the space of three years.

Many expect him to take over at one of Europe’s elite in the coming years, so a move to north London could be perfect.

He knows how to shut teams out, something the Gunners desperately need,  while also allowing his side to express themselves going forward.

If the Gunners do decide to go for Nuno down the line, then we, along with these Arsenal fans, wouldn’t be against the idea.
