Arsenal fans have hailed Kieran Tierney’s immediate actions after the defeat to Liverpool on Wednesday.
The Scot came on for Sead Kolasinac late on at Anfield but couldn’t prevent the Gunners conceding a last gasp equaliser to take the tie to penalties.

Unai Emery’s men fell to a 5-4 shootout defeat, leaving both the players and fans in deflated spirits.
However, after Curtis Jones fired in the winning penalty, Tierney immediately grabbed his Arsenal teammates and encouraged them to thank the travelling support.
Reporter Andrew Allen posted Tierney’s actions on social media, which led to plenty of fans hailing the 22-year-old.

After spending four extremely successful professional years with Celtic, Tierney isn’t used to defeat.
However, it’s great to see that his first instincts were to thank the Gunners faithful, who, in truth, sounded out the Liverpool crowd for the entirety.
Tierney is already becoming a fan favourite with his displays on the pitch, so this immediate response to defeat will only increase his popularity at the Emirates.
