“Our best player” – Arsenal fans ‘can’t understand’ recent Lacazette criticism

Alexandre Lacazette has come in for some criticism since his return from injury, however, following his unseen reaction to Arsenal’s ruled out winner against Crystal Palace, many fans have backed the Frenchman.

The forward is yet to score in his three appearances following an ankle problem, with Unai Emery’s side struggling against Sheffield United, Vitoria and most recently, Palace.

The Gunners thought they’d won it late on against the Eagles, however, Sokratis’ late strike was controversially disallowed for a foul in the build-up, meaning they’d have to settle for a point.

Unseen footage on Crystal Palace’s YouTube channel, shared by @Aubazettes, made its way across social media which showed Lacazette passionately celebrating Sokratis’ strike.

And even though it was eventually ruled out, @afcevan praised the Frenchman, hitting out at the recent criticism he has received.

This led to these Arsenal fans backing the striker, with many viewing the 28-year-old as the club’s best player.

A section of fans have wrongly taken out their frustration in recent weeks on the forward, and they’ll probably be quick to hail the player when he returns to his best.

His celebration after Sokratis appeared to have won it on Sunday was brilliant, and it’s clear for everyone to see just how passionate he is about the club.

We’re sure that he’ll soon return to his goalscoring ways, so its good to see these Arsenal supporters backing their star man following some unnecessary criticism.
