Two massive English clubs face off in the last-16 of the Carabao Cup tonight as Liverpool host Arsenal at Anfield.
Liverpool earned this tie after they saw off League One side Milton Keynes Dons 2-0, whilst Arsenal beat Championship side Nottingham Forest 5-0.
Playing Liverpool at Anfield is always going to be difficult, no matter what. However, this becomes even harder for Arsenal as the furore around Granit Xhaka and Unai Emery has caused a disconnect between the fanbase at the team.
But, Arsenal should be boosted by the fact that Liverpool will look to have their sights on other trophies, so will probably lack the intensity of a Premier League or Champions League match.
Regardless, the Reds have looked in mighty form. Undefeated and top of the Premier League, Liverpool are playing with full confidence.
On the other hand, Arsenal are low on confidence, after seeing VAR ruin their chances of beating Crystal Palace, and the ugly scenes between Xhaka and the section of booing Arsenal fans.
On top of that, these two met in the league in August, and Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners.
Emery will look to pick up his team, as this could be the Gunners only realistic chance of winning silverware this season.
Here are four key battles we expect to see during the encounter…
