Arsenal fans have called for Hector Bellerin to take over the leadership duties at the Emirates.
The Gunners were held to a 2-2 draw on Sunday against Crystal Palace, with the main talking point coming after the hour mark.
Current skipper Granit Xhaka was substituted to a chorus of boos from a section of Arsenal supporters, which led to the Swiss star reacting angrily and storming straight down the tunnel.

Xhaka’s antics have been the hot topic amongst numerous Gunners fans over the past few days, and now @PatrickTimmons1 has weighed in with his views.
He hailed Bellerin before claiming the full-back has the ability to lead the Gunners long term.

Xhaka’s reaction should lead to serious consequences, and if he is stripped of his role as captain, then Bellerín will more than likely be a serious contender to take over.
He’s been at the Emirates for six years now and is extremely popular in north London, and if the fans had any input on a possible future captain, Bellerín would probably be at the top of many’s list.
