We’re with these Arsenal fans in viewing a potential deal as a bad piece of business.

The Gunners have been looking to add young exciting stars to their ranks over the past 12 months, so signing Gotze would certainly go against their transfer policy grain.

The midfielder is still only 27, however, it looks as if his injury woes have really affected him, so a deal would be a risky one.
