Arsenal have once again been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze, however, the news hasn’t gone down well with some supporters.
The Gunners have been tipped to sign the German on numerous occasions in recent years, with the last coming over the summer.
And now, according to Sky Deutschland, cited by @WorldwideAFC, Arsenal are keen on a deal for the midfielder at the end of the season, where he would be a free agent.

Gotze, who scored the winner in the World Cup final five years ago, has been blighted by injury troubles in recent years, and the fresh transfer links haven’t gone down well with a section of Gunners fans.

We’re with these Arsenal fans in viewing a potential deal as a bad piece of business.
The Gunners have been looking to add young exciting stars to their ranks over the past 12 months, so signing Gotze would certainly go against their transfer policy grain.
The midfielder is still only 27, however, it looks as if his injury woes have really affected him, so a deal would be a risky one.
