YouTube, as we all know is one of the world’s biggest websites and the video hosting service now playa a major role in modern football.
Whether it be to watch videos created by official club channels or by fan channels like AFTV, football fans flock to YouTube in their millions each and every week.
When it comes to Arsenal, the club are doing all they can to use their YouTube channel to create great content for the club’s supporters.
Not only do fans benefit from Arsenal’s official Youtube channel, the club itself benefits hugely too, with new figures compiled by livefootballtickets revealing that the Gunners earn around $169,317 (£131,647) per month from YouTube views alone.
That works out at over $2m million a year – approximately £1.58 million.
Sky Sports Football leads the way in terms of revenue created by football-themed YouTube channels as they are making a staggering $1.06 million a month.
Liverpool are third in the list, whilst F2Freestylers sit above the Reds in second place. Arsenal are ranked in eighth place behind those three channels, plus FIFATV, and the official channels of Barcelona, Man City and Chelsea.
