UFC star Conor McGregor has revealed that his current favourite football player is Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney, as reported on the Evening Times.
Irishman McGregor, who according to Celebrity Net Worth is worth an incredible $120m (£93m), is a huge fan of the left-back.

Tierney swapped Glasgow for London as he left Celtic for Arsenal and McGregor has hailed him as “phenomenal”. When asked who his favourite footballer is, McGregor said:
Nowadays, as a young, guy Kieran Tierney. He was the captain of Celtic and recently signed for Arsenal.
He’s been a phenomenal supporter of mine and he’s rose up. He’s a phenomenal football player. He’s a great guy and a good kid and I’m rooting for him.

McGregor is a hugely controversial figure but the fact that he rates Tierney so highly shows that the young Scotsman is doing something right.
Tierney is yet to start a Premier League game for the Gunners and will be hoping to do so today as Arsenal welcome Crystal Palace to the Emirates.
Tierney’s support for McGregor has been recognised and appreciated and the UFC fighter has returned the favour.
