Xhaka hits back angrily at Evra’s criticism of Arsenal
Arsenal captain Granit Xhaka has hit back at Manchester United legend Patrice Evra, who heavily criticised the Gunners after their 1-0 defeat against Sheffield United on Monday.
The Gunners were well below par at Brammall Lane, which led Evra to label the team as “babies” and with a weak mentality.
Skipper Xhaka felt there was no need for such a comment and as quoted on Bleacher Report, he responded:
A lot of people speak too much. I hear he [Evra] speaks something against us. I have a lot of respect for him because he was a great player.
But you have to be careful what you say in those situations as well. It’s not only him; it’s a lot of people. They speak a lot of bull**** about us. It’s always the same.
Is Xhaka right to hit back at Evra?

Xhaka was one of many Arsenal players who played very poorly on Monday, but it is refreshing to see him passionately defend the club.
Some people are praising Evra’s comments, whilst others believe he went a bit too far. It’s clear to see what Xhaka thinks about it.
However, it’s important that the Arsenal players don’t get fazed by the thoughts of those who are simply watching on. Their sole focus needs to be on how they can get back to winning ways in the next match against Crystal Palace.
