Arsenal fans urge Bielsa start to Nketiah after late Preston goal

Arsenal youngster Eddie Nketiah continues to battle against the odds this season after scoring late on against Preston for Leeds on Tuesday night.

There were yet more question marks over his loan in the build-up to the game after Bielsa revealed he would once again be starting on the bench.

However, he came on to score a vital goal after just 13 minutes on the pitch to salvage a draw for Leeds.

Following the game, these fans on social media are urging Marcelo Bielsa to ‘take note’ and start the striker regularly.

Nketiah’s spell on loan at Elland Road has been one of the biggest mysteries of the season so far.

Maybe, just maybe the Preston result will be a turning point for Leeds. Marcelo Bielsa has been reluctant to drop Patrick Bamford or even play the two together, but what more can the young Arsenal man do?

He’s coming off the bench and scoring in big moments, showing exactly why he deserves the chance to start.

Tuesday’s goal means the striker now has five to his name this season, making him Leeds’ top goalscorer in all competitions – surely it is time for Bielsa to make a change.
