After seeing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain come off the bench for Liverpool against Manchester United, Arsenal fans have been left hailing the club’s transfer business to let him go.
When the English midfielder was initially sold to the Reds, there was uproar among the fan base, with many believing that the club had lost one of their most talented players.
However, many were quick to point out that Oxlade-Chamberlain doesn’t seem to have developed in the way that many believed he would, with these Arsenal fans on social media now quite happy with the deal that saw him swap London for Merseyside.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has shown flashes of brilliance at Liverpool, but like many have pointed out, he is yet to really kick on in the fashion that many expected him to under Jurgen Klopp.
Of course, injuries have played some part in this, with the midfielder missing nearly a year’s worth of football due to a cruciate ligament rupture.
Under Klopp, Oxlade-Chamberlain has developed in parts, especially tactically following his move to Anfield, but it may well be another case of what could’ve been for the player.
At the age of 26 now, he’ll be hoping to kick on this season and get some regular game time under his belt. However, having been out of the Liverpool team for so long, Oxlade-Chamberlain faces a battle to get back in the XI.
