Arsenal fans have played down the club’s fears regarding summer signing William Saliba.
The 18-year-old was the Gunners’ first big-money addition over the summer, joining from Saint Etienne in a deal worth £27 million before being loaned back to the Ligue 1 outfit.
The defender suffered an injury before the beginning of the season and only made his first appearances of the campaign prior to the international break.
And according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Arsenal officials have been impressed with Saliba’s displays, however, they are also concerned in some areas, which was shared by Gunners fan @ZR_7G1.

Saliba has endured a frustrating start to the season through injury, but once he’s fully shaken that off, he’ll more than likely go on to show just why the Gunners were willing to spend £27 million on his services.
He showed last season he has the potential to be a future star, so the Gunners will need to be patient in order to get the best out of him further down the line.
If he can produce a run of performances similar to last season, things will quickly change, which could lead to many calling for Saliba to become the Gunners’ first-choice centre-back next season.
