Arsenal fans have heaped praise on Eddie Nketiah after he scored a hat-trick for England’s Under-21 side on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old, who is playing his trade with Leeds United this season, could have had four at Stadium MK but saw his penalty saved late on in the 5-1 European Championship qualifier win over Austria.

Nketiah, who actually converted from the spot on Friday in England’s 2-2 draw with Slovenia, was the hot topic amongst many fans after the club shared this appreciation post regarding the forward.

And these fans were quick to reply to the post to join in on the praise, with some calling for the striker to be handed a new deal at the Emirates.

Nketiah’s impressive form during the international break has come as no surprise, and the Gunners know they have a real star on their hands.

Unai Emery didn’t want to send the forward out on loan this season, which just shows how highly the club rate him.
The forward will now be hoping to earn a first Championship start with Leeds following his excellent displays away with his country.
If he continues to be left out of the Leeds side under Marcelo Bielsa, the Gunners could potentially think about recalling him in the new year.
