It’s great to see Guendouzi get the recognition for the brilliant rise he has enjoyed since joining Arsenal.
After arriving from Ligue 2, nobody would have expected him to have such an impact so quickly at the Emirates.
However, after being on the fringes of the first team last season, he has now become one of the first names on the team sheet this time around.
He may not be among the favourites to win the award, but it’s great to see him named alongside some of the greatest young talents in European football.
