Memphis Depay has gone from strength to strength since leaving Manchester United and his form in France for Lyon has not gone unnoticed by Arsenal supporters.
Some are even suggesting him as a potential transfer target, as he approaches the end of his contract with the Ligue 1 side.
A tweet from user @_AdamKeys made for an interesting debate and some of these Arsenal supporters can get behind the idea.

Twitter: @_AdamKeys This actually makes sense, if we could to for Zaha, a United flop, I don’t see why we shouldn’t try at least to sign him (@hunree)

However, some weren’t exactly against the idea, but want to see the club strengthen in other areas first.

Depay is a different player now compared to the one we all saw struggle at Manchester United.
He has matured and has developed into a real leader for both Lyon and the Dutch national team.
In terms of quality, he would be a fantastic addition to Arsenal’s squad and give them some added versatility as a player who can both lead the line and play out wide.
However, this may just be the right player at the wrong time for Arsenal. There are simply other areas of the team that they need to strengthen going forward that means a player like Depay may not be a priority.
