# “True legend” – Arsenal fans praise Wenger following prediction claims

Arsenal fans have taken to social media to heap praise on Arsene Wenger following the Frenchman’s Gunners prediction for the current campaign.

The 69-year-old is yet to return to the dugout since leaving the Emirates last May, despite revealing recently that he’s rejected offers from various English clubs.

Wenger has been doing plenty of punditry during his time away from management, and his latest comments on his former side got many Arsenal fans in the feels.

As cited by [@AFTVMedia](https://twitter.com/AFTVMedia/status/1181929556954906624), Wenger believed that Unai Emery’s side have the ‘potential’ to finish in the top four.

And it was Wenger’s ‘we’ comments that had these Arsenal fans talking.

### Read Arsenal verdict

Wenger’s comments have obviously brought back a lot of fond memories to these Arsenal fans, and it’s great to see the former boss referring to the club in that way.

He’ll always be a club legend despite a relatively poor final 12 months in north London, and more comments like these will only further his popularity at the Emirates.
