Left-back Kieran Tierney has admitted that he is delighted to be a part of Arsenal and he is enjoying every moment at the club, as reported on the Herald Scotland.
The full-back joined the Gunners during the summer transfer window from Scottish champions Celtic and has only recently returned from injury.
Tierney was in great form against Standard Liege in the UEFA Europa League last Thursday and he’s impressed with the level of quality at the club.
He said:
It’s been a frustrating time being out injured but that’s what happens in football, you work hard and it’s all worth it for nights like Thursday.
The players and staff have been great with me and I could not ask for any more. I’m just doing my best every day. I work hard and if the manager trusts me then I’ll give 100 per cent.
Coming here, the standard has been great for me to learn off, it’s taken me a few weeks to get up to standard and up to speed with the other boys. They are a world-class standard and so for me learning off them is brilliant.
I’m delighted to be here and Arsenal have shown great faith in me by putting in a record-breaking bid, so I’m delighted.
