After netting twice in the Europa League on Thursday night, Gabriel Martinelli has now scored more goals than any Manchester United player this season.
What makes this stat even more impressive is the fact that the Brazilian has only started two games for the club.
He now has four goals to his name and his impressive performance against Liege has these fans on social media laughing at Man United – who struggled to a 0-0 draw in their Europa League clash against AZ Alkmaar.

Martinelli is enjoying a great moment at the start of his Arsenal career, with a double in both the League Cup and now the Europa League.
He put in a brilliant performance against Standard Liege on Thursday night and is now pushing to feature more under Unai Emery.
Those calls will only continue to grow if he can keep up this goalscoring form for the Gunners.
It tells you everything you need to know about Manchester United’s poor season that Daniel James and Marcus Rashford are their top goalscorers with three each and have both been ever-present this season.
