Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has hit back at Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke after he suggested his move to Arsenal was only about money.
The Arsenal striker has responded on Twitter, questioning his decision to previously sell Ousmane Dembele to Barcelona, citing Watzke’s greed as the reason behind that move as well.

Read Arsenal verdict
This is great to see from Aubameyang, who was clearly unhappy about Watzke’s comments and understandably so.
It’s no secret that Aubameyang is earning more money in the Premier League, such is the financial strength of the division, that was always going to happen.
Maybe now there is a level of envy and regret coming in from Dortmund after seeing the form Aubameyang has displayed in the early stages of the season.
If he can keep up his goalscoring efforts, Arsenal will be fighting for a place back in the Champions League this season, that is for sure.
