Arsenal reportedly had scouts in attendance at Liverpool’s thrilling Champions League encounter with RB Salzburg on Wednesday to watch teenage midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai, and it’s fair to say the Gunners fans liked what they saw.
The 18-year-old has been linked with numerous European giants in recent weeks and showed why he is a man in demand with an impressive display at Anfield.
The Austrian side came from 3-0 down to level proceedings on Merseyside before Mohamed Salah’s second of the game won it for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Szoboszlai was replaced shortly after Salah’s second, however, he made enough of an impression on these Arsenal fans, who are now desperate for the club to make their move in the new year.

It’s easy to see why Arsenal sent scouts to watch the Hungarian closely. He’s athletic strong and good on the ball, and his ability to make late goalscoring runs into the area is something the Gunners currently lack.
Aaron Ramsey left over the summer, while Mesut Ozil looks certain to leave in the new year.
Dani Ceballos is also unlikely to make his move permanent from Real Madrid, so Arsenal may need to do whatever they can to secure the highly-rated teenager’s services in the new year following his solid display on Merseyside.
