# Arsenal fans slam United performance despite singling out three stars for praise

Despite coming from behind to earn a point at Old Trafford, it appears as if the Gunners’ display in Manchester on Monday hasn’t gone down well with a large percentage of Arsenal fans.

Scott McTominay handed United the lead shortly before the interval, however, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s second-half effort, which was initially ruled out for offside before being overturned by VAR, earned Unai Emery’s side a point, on what was in truth, a poor game for the neutral.

Arsenal fan page [@arseblog](https://twitter.com/arseblog/status/1178775216379617280) shared their views on the performance after the final whistle, highlighting Buyako Saka, Matteo Guendouzi and Aubameyang for praise before hitting out at the overall performance.

And these Gunners supporters were quick to join in with the negative comments.

### Read Arsenal verdict

It’s easy to understand the frustration from these Gunners fans, however, supporters should be in a half-full kind of mood rather than a half-empty one.

Arsenal have already played Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United in their opening seven games and sit in the top four with just one defeat.

Yes, the performances have to improve over the coming weeks, but 12 points from seven games is just about acceptable at this stage of the season.

League fixtures against Bournemouth, Sheffield United and Crystal Palace before the end of the month will be crucial to the overall atmosphere around the Emirates, and nine points from nine will leave Gunners fan in a more positive mood ahead of the busy new year period.
